Season 11 of Hell's Kitchen came to an end last night and (spoiler alert) Houston cheftestapant Ja'Nel Witt won. As is standard, Witt's win includes a $250,000 one-year contract to run the kitchen at one of shouty chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurants. Eater Vegas reports that Witt will be "head chef under executive chef Jeremy Berlin at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace."
At the viewing party last night, Witt told Eater Vegas editor Susan Stapleton: "From the very first day in Hell's Kitchen, I knew this competition would be unlike anything I had ever experienced ... winning Hell's Kitchen is even more proof that I made the right decision to follow my heart and turn my passion into my career." In a press release, Ramsay said: "Ja'Nel is an incredibly passionate chef and a strong leader." Hooray for everyone.
