A long-time cook in the Paula Deen empire has told the New York Times that she experienced racism in the form of racial slurs and unequal pay while working for the ex-Food Nework star. Apparantly, Deen also asked her to "ring a dinner bell in front of the restaurant, hollering for people to come and get it." She has filed a complaint with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. [NYT]
