Following yesterday's review of Daniel Boulud's NYC flagship Daniel in which critic Pete Wells knocked it down a star (from four to three), chef Thomas Keller tweeted a note of congratulations: "3 well deserved stars for my dear friend @DanielBoulud."
The review was a big demotion, but Thomas Keller's tweet is basically a PR bot Twitter account gone rogue. (Or maybe it's Keller "kicking @danielboulud in the balls"?) Either way, here's Alinea/Next co-owner Nick Kokonas' take: "Must be a social media consultant. Fire immediately."
