Former New York Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni attended one of three dinners at Vetri in Philadelphia which honored the recently shuttered landmark restaurant Le Bec-Fin. Aside from enjoying the "heavenly" meal he calls "a valentine to a lost civilization," Bruni learns that Le Bec-Fin chef Georges Perrier is working on opening a bistro. [NYT]
