Cochon Heritage Fire in SF; LA Food & Wine Lineup

SAN FRANCISCO — The pork-loving event producers at Cochon 555 have announced the lineup for their Bay Area event Cochon Heritage Fire on Sunday, August 11th. LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Food & Wine has announced its 2013 lineup. Musician/fried chicken enthusiast Questlove will be there along with chefs like Thomas Keller, Masaharu Morimoto, Grant Achatz, and Rick Bayless. WASHINGTON, DC — Virginia bartender Todd Thrasher (PX, TNT) will be hosting a pop-up dinner in which he will cook paella for guests at Society Fair. Tickets are $100, with proceeds going to benefit Fit for Hope, a weight loss competition many DC-area chefs and restaurant workers are participating in that's sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
