Mission Chinese chef Danny Bowien is definitely opening a Mexican restaurant in New York City's Lower East Side. The restaurant, Mission Cantina, has been highly rumored, and now the New York Post reports that it's set to open this Fall just down the block from the NYC outpost of Mission Chinese Food.
Update: From Bowien on Twitter: "Rumors are rumors. Tequila bar? I think not. Spokesperson? Who? What?" [NYP via Eater NY]
