Expansion Wire

mcdonalds-logo-150.jpgMcDonald's has announced that it will expand into Vietnam for the first time ever. The fast food giant has also picked investor Henry Nguyen — who also just so happens to be the Vietnamese prime minister's son-in-law — to lead its franchise in Vietnam. The first outlet will open in Ho Chi Minh City early next year before joining the likes of KFC, Burger King, and the country's first-ever Starbucks. [WSJ]
