Shake Shack to Open 4th Florida Location in Winter Park

Burger mecca Shake Shack will be expanding its Sunshine State empire to Winter Park, Florida (just outside of Orlando). According to the announcements was made yesterday via Shake Shack's Twitter and Facebook, the new location will be "situated lakeside next to beautiful Lake Killarney and at the intersection of N. Orlando Avenue and West Morse Blvd." No word yet on a specific address. The open date is "mid 2014."

The recently-announced location will be the expansion-minded Shake Shack team's fourth in Florida; they just opened a Boca Raton outpost earlier this year, with other Shacks in Coral Gables and South Beach. And the Shack Attack train just don't stop: Meyer has locations in the works for Las Vegas and Chicago, and New Jersey, as well as a second one under way in Istanbul.
