The Associated Press reports that Rail World Inc. president and CEO Edward Burkhardt arrived to Lac-Mégantic with a police escort today. Six days ago, one of his company's trains derailed causing devastating oil explosions that damaged popular live music bar Le Musi-Café and the town's downtown area. Reports now indicate that 50 people are dead and 30 are still missing, many of whom were potentially in the Musi-Café at the time of the explosion. [AP]
