Restaurateur Danny Meyer has successfully blanketed New York City in Shake Shacks, but now he appears to be expanding his hamburger empire westward to Paramus, New Jersey. According to The Record, Director of Marketing Edwin Bragg confirmed yesterday that the borough was getting the state's first-ever Shake Shack this fall. It will move into the space currently occupied by recently shuttered breakfast food restaurant, Stacks Pancake House & Cafe.
The expansion-minded Shake Shack team is hot off the heels of its London opening over the weekend, and the launch of a Boca Raton outpost earlier this year. Other than plans to throw their hat into the Las Vegas burger chain ring in early 2014, Meyer and crew are also working on a second Istanbul location, and their first Midwest location in Chicago. Where will the Shack burgers strike next?
