Dana Cowin's Cookbook Mastering My Mistakes in the Kitchen Coming 2014

HarperCollins imprint Ecco has recently acquired the rights to publish Food & Wine magazine Editor-in-Chief Dana Cowin's upcoming cookbook, tentatively set to publish in 2014. Titled Mastering My Mistakes in the Kitchen, the book will feature advice (for Dana) from " the world's best chefs," specifically the ones she's gotten to know during her "nearly two decades" at Food & Wine.

She says in the press release, "I'm going to enlist the world's best chefs... to tell me what I'm doing wrong and then show me how to master my mistakes." Ecco is behind cookbooks by the likes of Mario Batali and Jamie Oliver. It also gave Anthony Bourdain his own line of books back in 2011. Here's the official press release:

New York, NY (July 10, 2013) - Ecco, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, is thrilled to announce that we have acquired North American rights to FOOD & WINE Editor-in-Chief Dana Cowin's cookbook, Mastering My Mistakes in the Kitchen, tentatively set to be published in 2014.

Daniel Halpern, President and Publisher of Ecco, negotiated the deal with Andy McNicol at William Morris Endeavor.
