Danny Meyer's quest for world burger domination continues. Here now, photographic proof of Shake Shack's second location in Istanbul: The restaurant, located in the historic Tünel neighborhood, was originally rumored to be Shake Shack's first outpost in Turkey, but the burger empire made its Turkish debut last month with a location in the Istinye Park Mall. Like Shack's properties in the Middle East, the Tünel location will be run by international partner Shaya and offer the usual Shack menu, plus a "selection of location-specific delicacies" and frozen desserts. The Istinye Park location, for example, features macaroon-laden concretes and chicken sucuk (a Turkish spiced sausage).
Shake Shack Tünel is scheduled to open this Summer.
