Not only might Walt Disney World be getting a Shake Shack, it might also be getting a Mos Eisley Cantina from Star Wars. According to Theme Park Insider, "inside sources" at Disney have confirmed plans to build Star Wars Land at the Florida resort. Star Wars Land would be built within the Disney's Hollywood Studios section of the park within the next several years. (The next series of Star Wars movies will be coming out in 2015.)
The Star Wars fanatics over at TheForce.net have sources who claim the expansion will also include a restaurant inspired by the cantina which features prominently in A New Hope. A similar rumor also surfaced last year regarding Disneyland Paris. In spite of the persistent rumors, a rep for Disney told local news outlet 13 News that they "have nothing to announce" about Star Wars Land. If Disney is in fact planning a Star Wars-themed cantina, perhaps they will take menu inspiration from Quick's Darth Vader burger and the Grillenium Falcon's grilled cheeses.
