Jon Favreau's Chef Film to Hit Theaters May 9, 2014

It's official: Jon Favreau's Chef film will be released next year on May 9th, 2014, which is Mother's Day weekend. (This is not the Bradley Cooper Chef film; thankfully, they're trying to get that same title dilemma sorted out.) Deadline Hollywood reports that the U.S. rights to Favreau's film were acquired by Open Road Films, who announced the release date yesterday.

Favreau's Chef will feature famous people like Sofia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, and Robert Downey, Jr, plus a food truck. Filming begins next month in Los Angeles, so if you happen to snap any photos of the production (especially of the Favreaumobile), you know what to do.
