Chef and Hannibal culinary advisor José Andrés has been keeping busy as of late. He recently finished expanding DC Mexican restaurant Oyamel (which he first announced back in January), adding 42 extra seats and 900 square feet. Just two weeks ago, Andrés' ThinkFoodGroup announced that it would be permanently reopening former Virginia pop-up America Eats Tavern.

Eater DC reports that Oyamel's new butterfly-laden design (by local architecture firm HapstakDemetriou+) features hanging butterflies over the new bar and a private dining area complete with Philippe Starck Ghost chairs and a mural of local model Julie Zeger with still more butterflies in her hair. Oyamel reopens to the public tomorrow. For more pictures of the finished product, head over to Eater DC.
