Comment of the Day

"They may write the list with the best of intentions and have the most ethical jurors on planet earth. But once you decide to numerically designate the top 100 restaurants, it becomes so difficult to take seriously... You can love or hate the Michelin guide, but at least they aren't absurdly stupid enough to numerically rate the restaurants in order. At least they are trying to be taken seriously with their star rating system and their subsequent explanation as to what defines a one, two or three star experience." — John Pertz on the World's 50 Best.
