McDonald's Unleashes America-Themed Menu in the UK

Photo: McDonald's UK / Facebook

Here's another menu of novelty burgers being served overseas at McDonald's. In the U.K., the fast food giant has rolled out the Great Tastes of America menu of novelty burgers, Brand Eating reports. The idea is that each week a different burger will be introduced that highlights a certain region of America. The Great Tastes menu isn't new for McDonald's. When they ran this same promotion last year, they turned a British town Texan to film a commercial, and the concept is similar to the one McDonald's looked to introduce in Australia in March. McDonald's UK also did a Great Tastes of the World menu last year.

McDonald's UK is currently serving the Louisiana BBQ Burger. Next up is the Chicago Supreme burger, featuring a beef patty, shredded lettuce, bacon, onions, cheese slices, tomato salsa, mayo, served in a chilli, chive, and sesame bun. Below is the new commercial for the Chicago Supreme burger, complete with strange American-meets-British stereotypes like cheerleaders at a cricket game. Go, watch.
