Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook to Open New LA Restaurant

Los Angeles duo Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo are going to be opening another restaurant together. Eater LA reports that the two chefs/restaurant partners are planning to open a restaurant on Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. They will be taking over the space of Damiano Mr Pizza, which is across the street from their restaurant Animal. The picture above was shared by Dotolo on Instagram, along with the caption: "This is the location of our future project. Looking forward to bringing more delicious food to fairfax #newproject #fairfax #la".

Shook and Dotolo are already the chef/owners of a growing group of critically acclaimed restaurants in Los Angeles including Animal and Son of a Gun. Last month they opened Trois Mec with chef Ludo Lefebvre. While there are no details yet as to the concept for the Fairfax space, it looks like the folks at NYC's Big Gay Ice Cream are already getting pumped. Big Gay Ice Cream has been talking about expanding to Los Angeles someday soon, and left the following comment on Dotolo's picture: "Is this where Big Gay ice Cream Los Angeles is going to go in?
