Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

There's no end in sight for the drama at Amy's Baking Company: The restaurant which rose to notoriety after freaking out on Facebook following a terrible showing on Kitchen Nightmares might be getting its own reality television series. Radar Online reports the couple has received "several offers from production companies" including Cineflix (American Pickers, Campus PD). An inside source tells Radar Online that "their agent is just looking out for them to make sure they get the best deal, so they want to wait on signing with Cineflix to make sure they've seen all the deals on the table." Guess they have been able to get an agent, despite losing their pr firm?

While the Radar Online exclusive isn't yet confirmed, it seems highly probable that a reality show is in owners Amy and Samy Bouzaglo's future. Samy Bouzaglo previously mentioned plans to write a book and create a reality show to Grub Street's Corbin Chamberlin. Perhaps the bizarre Meow Mix tribute video could be part of the show's opening credit sequence.
