Alice Waters' beloved Chez Panisse started taking reservations again this morning for the first time since the fire that devastated the restaurant in early March. Inside Scoop SF reports that reservations are being accepted for the downstairs restaurant and the upstairs café for June 24 going forward. Starting tomorrow reservations will be accepted on the restaurant's website and OpenTable.
The official Chez Panisse reopening date is still set for June 21 with the $2,500-per-plate fundraising dinner benefiting Waters' Edible Schoolyard Project. For those interested, the charity has confirmed with Eater National that there are still a few seats (less than 10 as of 1 p.m. EST) available in the café; tickets can be purchased for $1,000 per diner.
