Top Chef Masters season five is definitely happening, and now Las Vegas chefs Rick Moonen (RM Seafood) and Herb Wilson (Sushi Samba) are reportedly going to be on the show. They join the previously-rumored mastercheftestapants David Burke, Jennifer Jasinski, and Tory Miller in the Bravo terrordome. (Moonen was a finalist on the second season of Top Chef Masters.)
In addition, according to the Las Vegas Sun, Todd English P.U.B. chef Jean-Paul Labadie is a strong maybe, but he is still unconfirmed. The Sun's Robin Leach writes that the upcoming season will have an "adventure theme." He also describes one of the challenges: "[T]he chefs parachute from a plane carrying all the cooking utensils they can. They reportedly land in a field of sheep and lambs and have to immediately host a barbecue."
Reality food show person Curtis Stone will be hosting again this season, and former Top Chef Just Desserts host Gail Simmons is in as the new "head critic." The show airs this Summer.
