NEW YORK CITY — The lineup for the New York City Wine & Food Festival — which will take place between October 17 and 20 — has been announced. Highlights include A Night in the D.O.M. dinner hosted by Brazilian chef Alex Atala, a Cross-Country Dinner with Sean Brock, George Mendes, and Daniel Patterson, and, as always, Rachael Ray's Burger Bash. FRANCE — A seven-minute preview of the Noma documentary, Noma My Perfect Storm / Being René Redzepi, will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Director Pierre Deschamps writes on the film's blog that the film is centered on a story Redzepi told him about "the perfect storm": "Your instinct tells you that everything will be ok, that there is control in spite of everything."
