Despite not-so-hot ratings and getting Deathwatched, The Taste has been renewed for a second season. According to the Hollywood Reporter, ABC is renewing the Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson vehicle even though there were "significant dips towards the end of its freshman run." Last season's winner, chef Khristianne Uy, worked as personal chef to Charlie Sheen and had a criminal record, so that will definitely be tough to top. Chefs Ludo Lefebvre and Brian Malarkey joined Bourdain and Lawson as judges on the show for the last season but there's no news yet on whether this specific panel will be returning for season two.
