jose-andres-e-150.jpgJosé Andrés weighs in on the battle between food trucks, brick-and-mortar restaurants and city officials happening this week in Washington, DC. Andrés — who also owns a truck, Pepe — says that he agrees with about 80 percent of DC's proposed food truck regulations: "I think there needs to be some adjustment. ... what is being proposed here is a model that really restricts the spaces where food trucks can park. Food truck[s] and restaurants can coexist successfully." [WaPo]
