The family of Popeyes founder Al Copeland is looking to erect a fried chicken-weilding statue of the late fast food mogul in a Metairie, LA park. Yes, really. Pictured above, the first proposed sketch of the majestic memorial features eight columns and a life-size Copeland holding a box of Popeyes, The Times-Picayune reports. The park's advisory board rejected this initial proposal saying "it was not in keeping with being complementary to the park." The final design is still undecided.
