Chez Panisse Rebuilds

chron-chez-panisse.jpgThe San Francisco Chronicle takes a look at the ongoing remodel of legend Chez Panisse, which suffered extensive damages due to a fire back in March and has been temporarily shuttered ever since. The city of Berkeley has fast-tracked the project: according to the contractor, "Normally it takes six to eight weeks to get a plan initially approved. We got it done in seven days." [SF Chronicle]
