60 current and former servers have filed a class action lawsuit against Milwaukee restaurant group La Fuente for violating Fair Labor Standards Act and Wisconsin wage and hour laws, the Journal-Sentinel reports. The suit claims several instances of wrong-doing including managers taking tips, servers not receiving pay for time worked pre-service, and servers being forced to pay for walk-outs, incorrect drinks, their uniforms, order pads, and name tags.
