Jimmy Kimmel Imagines a Scary Drinkable Pizza Hut Meal

Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Here's a video clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live that explores the possibilities of hands-free dining for gamers using the new Pizza Hut Xbox app. The app allows gamers to order Pizza Hut delivery from their Xbox using the game controllers, their voice, or gestures. Kimmel suggests that the app is part of Xbox's mission to make "humans and couches become one," and imagines the a new delivery item: Extreme Gamer's Double Crust Dinner Box Hands-Free Smoothie Tubers.

Extreme Smoothie Tubers are made by blending the following Pizza Hut favorites into a drinkable liquid for hands-free consumption: five large single-topping cheesey crust pizzas; three supremo p'zones; four orders of breadsticks; choice of pasta, pizza rollers, or boneless buffalo wings; cinnamon sticks; marina dipping sauce. After stuffing pizzas with cheeseburgers and creating pizza perfume, Extreme Smoothie Tubers don't feel like too much of a stretch for the gimmick-loving pizza chain. Go, watch.
