Austin Food & Wine Festival 2013 Hangover Observations

This past weekend was the 2013 Austin Food & Wine Festival, bringing celebrity chefs, local culinary all-stars, and artisan producers in the same grassy tented arenas. Eater Austin has hangover observations of the event, because this festival had everything: fire pit demos, Andrew Zimmern hanging out with ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, and San Diego chef Brian Malarkey wearing a newsboy cap. Speaking of Malarkey, he was overheard saying that the deathwatched TV series The Taste is maybe not done yet. From Eater Austin: "The network hasn't made a decision just yet, and we should hear in a couple of months whether or not the show has been renewed for a second season."
