Hillary Dixler Canavan is Eater's restaurant editor and the author of the publication's debut book, Eater: 100 Essential Restaurant Recipes From the Authority on Where to Eat and Why It Matters (Abrams, September 2023). Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

Here's a novel way to spend a ton of money in Las Vegas. For a cool $250,000, the Hyde Bellagio's offers a high roller package that includes the chance for guests to select a song for the famous Fountains of Bellagio and push the button that controls them, Eater Vegas reports. Guests who purchase the package will be met by a butler who "delivers a gold box filled with a menu of fountain songs and a single red button that turns on the 4,700 lights and 1,200 fountains."

The package includes only one song selection, but Hyde Bellagio's director of VIP services Greg Costello told Eater Vegas the package also "comes with a 30 liter bottle of Ace of Spades, a great table, [and] some lavish goodies." According to Vegas Inc, the package has not been booked yet.
