New, 1 comment

Late night host Conan O'Brien is shooting his show this week in AtlantaConan is normally shot in Burbank, CA — and of course the crime magnet/restaurant chain Waffle House came up in his monologue. He explained why he ended up in Atlanta: "My bosses at TBS here in Atlanta told me I could do a week of shows anywhere in the world. So I told them Paris, France. And they said, Atlanta it is." And what does Conan have planned for Atlanta? "I'm only here in Atlanta for four shows," said Conan. "But I promise you this, ladies and gentlemen. I will not leave this city until I get into a fistfight at a Waffle House." Also: shirtless. The Waffle House segment of the monologue starts at 2:40 in:

The last time Conan did a series of shows in a different city was June of 2012 — in Chicago — and there some great food moments: the extra-healthy Chicago diet, the world's longest hot dog, and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog's absolutely epic visit to Wiener's Circle.
