Here's a video that will hit a little close to home for all the cookbook hoarders of the world. Chef Matt Kantor stars in this delightfully weird homage to Toronto's beloved The Cookbook Store on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. In the video, Kantor asks the question that haunts all cookbook enthusiasts: How many is too many? And spoiler alert: you can never have too many cookbooks. As Kantor argues, while sitting in an armchair and creepily stroking a cat, "Would you say, for instance, that you have too much money or that you have too much sex or too many cats? Of course not. Don't be silly."

Kantor also explains that he incinerates his English major wife's literary novels so as to make room for more cookbooks on their shelves, and he advises his fellow hoarders, "Next time somebody asks you if you have too many cookbooks, give them a well-deserved punch in the nose. Then clean yourself up and go buy yourself a cookbook because you deserve it." Life lessons, everyone. Here's the video;
