Dunkin' Donuts Employee Foils Robbery With Hot Coffee

A heroic Dunkin' Donuts employee stopped an attempted robbery at her store on Saturday night by throwing coffee at the would-be robber as he tried to climb in through the drive-thru window. NBC Connecticut reports that the man tried to break into the West Haven store after the employee, Angelica, refused to make change for a $100 bill. Fortunately, she had the cup of hot coffee he ordered in hand and threw it at him, then threw an entire pot of coffee at him. Then, Angelica explains, "That's when he started running into his truck and then he left, and I said, 'Go run on Dunkin.'"

Bam. Anyway, police are still looking for the man, who left in a white Ford Explorer around 11 p.m. Here is the store's surveillance video that shows how it all went down:
