New Orleans chef John Besh's new show, John Besh's Family Table, is about to premiere on public television on April 6 (depending on the market; check your local listings). The show is based on Besh's 2011 cookbook My Family Table, which was all about solid home cooking with a Louisiana spin. And the preview below proves the show will cover similar ground: Besh breaks crawfish with his wife and four sons, talks smack about the size of trout he catches, drives a boat, and douses bananas in rum. Seriously, what more do you want?
