One of New York City's acclaimed Neopolitan-style pizza joints is about to hit Hong Kong. A tipster sent Eater the above photo of Motorino Hong Kong's exterior, and Motorino took to Twittter today to tell its pizza-craving followers that the Hong Kong storefront is "just about ready." The New York Times reports that friends and family service was delayed by slow-curing cement in the $50,000 pizza oven, but the first pies at this New York City transplant were served this past Sunday.

Motorino currently has one other location in New York City's East Village, having lost its original Williamsburg spot to sinking foundation. Chef Mathieu Palombino also has plans to open again in Williamsburg in April. Palombino explains the seemingly out of left field decision to open in Hong Kong to the Times: "I just thought the idea of Motorino in Hong Kong would seem really cool."
