Yesterday BuzzFeed delivered a burger's eye view of the journey from patty to plate at New York City burger joint Whitmans . The story begins in cold storage, where a mustached, gloved chef grabs the burger and brings it to a counter, glimpsing the grill on the walk. The view of the grill from burger level is eerie, and the descent onto the grill is legitimately frightening. Burger toppings like red onions and bibb lettuce join the patty and together the finished dish finds its way to a ketchup-happy diner. Definitely watch to the end. Burger afterlife seems like a really awesome place.
