Hey, ready for more Top Chef? Good thing, because the brand's flagship series has been renewed for an eleventh season, Bravo has announced. This show will outlive us all. Anyway, if you feel the urge to try out for Top Chef so you too can cook food for Muppets on a moving train while playing a kazoo or whatever, and also you're located in/near Austin, Brooklyn, Vegas, Chicago, Miami or LA, casting details are below. Eater spies should start fixing their eyeballs on Whole Foods in cities with well-heeled tourism bureaus sometime after March 1. Both Portland and Boston have been mentioned as possible shooting locations in the past.
Also, it should be noted that today is the birthday of Eater's Top Chef recapper Max Silvestri. Coincidence? Doubtful. Happy birthday, Max. Here's a press release:
