chi SPACCA, a meat-heavy restaurant that borrows its name from the Italian word for cleaver, opens tonight next door to Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles. Born of the Salumi Nights at owner Nancy Silverton's Scuola di Pizza, the restaurant will serve chef Chad Colby's cured, cooked and raw meat dishes alongside a small (ten bottle) wine list. The menu shows salumi, seafood selections, chops, steaks, a selection of cortorni and more.
