pete-wells-review-the-marrow.jpgNew York Times critic Pete Wells awards one star to Harold Dieterle's new German-Italian restaurant, The Marrow. New York critics have so far been split in their reactions, and Wells — despite having great things to say about the dessert menu and many dishes — finds a lack of focus. Of a salmon dish, he writes, "Like a flustered person who isn't sure what to say, the dish rambled on without coming to the point. Order unwisely and the table can be overcome by this kind of nervous chatter." [NYT, The Bad Deal]
