yannick-alleno-150.jpgThe Wall Street Journal's Alexander Lobrano files a rave of a review for French chef Yannick Alléno's two Michelin-starred Alpine restaurant, Le 1947, calling it "the hottest table in France right now." He writes, "Every dish tasted so vividly of what it was that I had the impression I'd never eaten any of it before." In an interview, Alléno says French restaurants "urgently need to change" and, Lobrano finds that he "really has pulled off a winter revolution in plummy, plutocratic Courchevel." [WSJ]
