Is sunny Saskatoon, Canada (yes, really) the new North American Hotness? It's maybe a little early to tell, but signs point to yes. The winner of Top Chef Canada season one Dale Mackay — who recently shuttered his two Vancouver restaurants — is heading back home to Saskatoon to open a restaurant. Mackay's goal is to open a "bistro with a casual lounge" and a "storefront butcher shop" by the Summer. [Star Phoenix]
