Gordon Ramsay Lie Wire

New, 1 comment

gordon-ramsay-michelin-lie-100.jpgWhile telling Bon Appétit about his plans to revamp his London flagship, it seems as though Gordon Ramsay is either very bad at math or he outright lied. In the interview, Ramsay said, "We've got three Michelin stars, the longest time a British restaurant has had three Michelin stars." But Chef Sandwich points out that the Waterside Inn has held three stars since 1985. Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, meanwhile, opened in 1998 and received its three stars in 2001. That is a 16-year difference. [Previously, Bon Appétit, Chef Sandwich]
