After years of pop-ups, former Manresa and Gary Danko pastry chef Belinda Leong finally opens her highly anticipated b. patisserie today in San Francisco. Eater SF has a look inside the 25-seat café with its custom counter — the only one of its kind in the United States — that is "designed to keep each section of goodies, from pastries to viennoiserie, at the perfect temperature." Leong's bakery will offer an array of sweets (such as Snickers-inspired macarons and her buttery, sugary signature kouign amann pastry) as well as savory items like open-faced tartine sandwiches.
