Nelson Mandela died yesterday, and it turns out that chef Dominique Macquet, of Dominique's on Magazine in New Orleans, was "asked to prepare Mandela's first meal out of prison when he was under house arrest." Apparently it was a shrimp louie dish. [WWLTV]
