Preview The Taste Season Two; Food Art in NYC

FOOD TV— ABC's culinary competition The Taste will debut on January 2 with new judge Marcus Samuelsson on-board, and the first preview has hit the web. In the two-hour premiere, judges Anthony Bourdain, Ludo Lefebvre, and Nigella Lawson say things like "this is food made by a person who has never had sex" and "it utterly seduced me." NEW YORK CITY— Onetime 1940s cabaret Diamond Horseshoe is getting a $20 million revamp, and developer Aby Rosen and Sleep No More creator Randy Weiner have announced their opening event. Eater NY reports that Queen of the Night will combine a "feast of interactive food art and performances curated by food artist Jennifer Rubell." The new Diamond Horseshoe is scheduled to debut on December 31. [Eater NY]
