Watch the Trailer for Can Roca's Spectacular El Somni Film

Here's an eight-minute trailer for a film about El Somni, the impressive culinary opera created by the El Celler de Can Roca brothers. According to the El Somni website, the El Somni film is to be "defined as a piece of art in itself" that "complements" the overall project. As chef Joan Roca described to Eater earlier this year, that project puts diners in a multimedia dome for a multi-course meal and multi-sensory experience.

In the trailer below, Joan Roca talks about the relationship between curiosity, science, and cuisine. Documentary-style footage find the El Somni team amidst meetings, rehearsals, and pep talks. Ferran Adrià and Harold McGee attend a performance. There's opera singing. There are projections. There's actress Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire). And of course, there's plenty of stunning food porn, too. Go, watch:
