According to a new study by the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention, only one in three diners at chain restaurants reported reading the often legally mandated calorie information provided on the menu. Though that number is kinda on the grim side, "of them, 95 percent reported using the information at least sometimes," though the calorie numbers still seem to have no effect on "calories purchased before and after menu labeling laws went into effect."
