Looks like chef Mario Batali and restaurateur Joe Bastianich are getting close to opening the doors to their latest Vegas restaurant: B&B Burger & Beer at the Venetian. Eater Vegas takes a sneak peek inside the hotly anticipated restaurant during a "staff test run," and finds the brightly colored restaurant ready to seat 120 people. Inside there will be more than 20 televisions broadcasting sports, while on an outdoor patio guests will have views of views of the Strip, the Venetian's gondolas, and the "nightly volcano explosions" at the Mirage. The restaurant also has a "2Go" window, but there's no word yet on whether the restaurant will deliver burgers and beers to nearby players in the casino. The space went through a $900,000 renovation, and is set to serve a menu of burgers and locally-focused beers.
