Not to be outdone by the Times Square Applebee's $375 New Year's Eve dinner, human lava lamp Guy Fieri is offering his own pricey New Year's Eve option. Eatocracy's Kat Kinsman discovers that $795 gets you a "Couple's VIP Table for 2" at Guy's American Kitchen & Bar, though the pricing has since been removed from the event website. The restaurant — which opened just over a year ago to now-legendary terrible reviews — is also offering general admission tickets to the event for $125.

So how many trips to Flavortown do you get for $795? There's a five-hour open bar, passed appetizers like Motley Que BBQ Ribs and imported cheeses, VIP platters with things like Vegetarian California Egg Rolls, Bourbon Brown Sugar Wings, and even more cheese, plus a bottle of champagne and party favors. Apparently the menu is "inspired by Guy Fieri" which makes sense because it's at his restaurant?

Along with Couple's VIP Tables, Guy's American Kitchen & Bar is also offering Ultra VIP and Platinum VIP experiences which have extra perks like bottles of Smirnoff vodka and mixers delivered tableside, plus seating for groups of 4 or more and access to an after-party at BB King's Blues Club. Fieri joins other venues across the country who are charging tons of money for New Year's Eve events, including one Vegas nightclub that's offering a million dollar champagne experience.
