The San Francisco city attorney has finished its investigation into whether restaurants were pocketing employee health care surcharges, and has collected some $2 million in "missing funds." Erring restaurants have been brought into compliance, and "4,000 restaurant workers will be eligible for disbursements." [SF Chron]
